Now in its 60th year, Forbes Travel Guide is the “only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas.”

Award winners are determined annually by trained inspectors who anonymously visit every property they rate and evaluate each based on up to 900 objective criteria. Inspections of both the facility and its services are taken into account in the rating process.
